Take me out to the Ballgame!!!
Jacob's 1st game...we won!!!
It was a nice, comfortable, partly sunny day yesterday... and then we come home, pick up Nate from his friend's house, drive over to pick up Chinese and low and behold...a huge storm comes! Wind picks up, rain starts crashing down, we wave for Bill to forget the food because the radio just said we're on Tornado Warning. So, we race home and turn on the news (and our storm tracker was going crazy!). So, we spent the next hour in front of the news until the hail starts in with the winds and lightening and thunder, they say we're in the cell of the storm so the boys and Hannah and I pull out the play-dough in our "tornado closet". Bill and Josh watch out the window. Needless to say, we had an exciting evening! No tornado here though, we're all good. And, Bill finally got to go back and get his Chinese food...poor guy!

Look who's driving!!!
So, Josh got his permit yesterday...I don't know if I'm ready for this!!! Although, there's been many times I've said it sure would be nice if Josh could run to the store for me to pick up some milk, etc. In exactly 6 months he'll be able to get his "resticted" license...meaning he can drive by himself but only from sun-up to sun-down. He says he can't wait to take his little sister to the amusement park or the zoo (I don't know about this!) I'll take it one step at a time. Sending him off to Kindergarten was much easier...what happened to my "baby"???

"No Cussing" in Pasadena!
Wow! If you haven't heard about it, check out my friend Kim's blog under my favorite blogs...Roger's Family. This 14 year old boy began a no cussing club which has now expanded to the whole country...his website is on Kim's link. But his town of S.Pasedena has supported him...it's great! Check it out!
Also, if you haven't seen "End of the Spear!"...go rent it! We haven't seen it yet, we are actually watching it tonight but our church played it last weekend. This boy's father was killed by this Waodani tribe from South America he was witnessing to, this tribe ends up becoming Saved, and this boy ended up ''growing up" with this tribe that killed his father. This "boy" spoke at our church last Sunday...not a "boy" of course anymore...but what an incredible story. And he was telling us how he brought his "Indian father" back to the states with him...and what funny stories he had like how this "Indian" couldn't figure out how we could could get the water to come out of the shower head up so high...it was a crack up!...I guess they "all" live here in Florida now. I'll have to tell you more stories later but if you haven't seen it...try to watch it.
