My mommy took me to the Disney Princess on Ice show today!

Do I look like Cinderella???
I am looking at all the beautiful princess dresses with my friend Vanessa.

Ooh! My favorite...Cinderella!

Here I am watching the show with my friend. Boy did I love watching all the princesses and Ariel and Tinkerbell. I even saw Micky and Minnie Mouse, the "Heigh-Ho's", and this scary fire breathing dragon from Mulan. My favorites were Sebastion and Ariel doing "Under the Sea", Sleeping Beauty dancing with her Prince that woke her up with a kiss, and of course Cinderella and her pumpkin that turned into a beautiful carriage. That was a pretty neat show!!!

Just bein' silly!!!

It's Spring game day for Gamecocks football fans...

The poor girl all pooped out after all her cheering!!! The boys had her all trained...everytime she heard the music and everyone yell "USC" she'd follow with the "Go Cocks!" Of course her favorite part of the game was watching Cocky, the mascot in the 2nd picture. She liked the cheerleaders also. Poor girl doesn't have a choice but to grow up a Gamecocks fan with her older brothers!!! She's such a sport though, she made it through the whole game and then she gets home to her brothers flipping on the USC baseball game for the rest of the afternoon. Josh tried to get us to jump from the football stadium to the baseball stadium, but after 4 hours at the football game, I told him "NO WAY!!!" (Plus I told him I'd make him a 7 layer dip at home...so that helped!) Josh has turned into one of those crazed USC fans...if he's not at the game or watching it on t.v., he's listening to it on his radio...HELP!!! If we're in the van, he wants me to turn it on. And in addition to his entire room being "garnet and black", he "made" me ("strongly encouraged" we'll say), me to get a Gameocks window cling for our family van. Afterall, he said, the colors match since our van is red! (And you know he's driving now too). Luckily, he found these red (well, garnet) gamecocks flip-flops that I could agree with. But, oh my goodness, what a nut!!! It's all good though...the boys are loving being Gamecocks fans!

Jacob's D.A.R.E speech:

All the 5th graders in South Carolina participate in the D.A.R.E. (drugs) program in the public schools. The Sheriffs dept. heads up the program and at the end they have a graduation ceremony...it's a big deal out here. I was impressed! Can you believe they even played a Steven Curtis Chapman (Christian) song for the ceremony?? How awesome is that in a public school??? Anyway, all the students had to write an essay and one student from each 5th grade class gets selected to represent their class with a speech at the graduation ...and Jacob got selected from his class. He did a wonderful job!

The South Carolina Young Writer's conference...

Our Elementary school is the host school for this yearly young writer's conference. One student per grade gets invited to attend (except our school is allowed 1 student per 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade class being the host school) and Nate had the priviledge of being chosen from his class to attend today. He had a really good time; he said he got to meet and hear from several different published children's authors. In fact, when I was picking him up I caught the tail end of the last author and Nate looked so cute sitting there listening with pen and paper on his lap taking notes...he looked so "professional". And at the end I let him choose his favorite author to purchase a couple books from and get them signed. He was so proud! It was such a neat experience for him I just had to share!

Here is that adorable Lake Carolina community I was telling you about, mom and Pam...

This one is the "downtown" pic...there is a coffee shop and an ice-cream store and more...
This is the central park and a few stores for one of the housing developments. It is walking distance to the "downtown" (the whole entire Lake Carolina community though has walking paths throughout). Below are a couple of these houses in this particular "Charleston style" development...more narrow homes and closer together...some on the lake... and the bigger homes in the development right next to it are the "all brick" which are most popular out here... those are much bigger and about a million for a lakefront (did you hear that California???) And notice the beautiful warm sunshine in the middle of March??? (For those of you who think it's COLD here:)

And don't forget this is a winter picture when everything was dead...we are just beginning to bloom for Spring...it's beautiful!

My first "date"...

Isn't he cute??? His name is Joseph, he does gymnastics with me. He even has his own kitchen..."blue" of course!!! His mommy said even though he's a boy, he should learn to cook. He already has a car too as you can see! I was too busy eating the kitchen "food" to smile at the camera but I wanted you to see my new boyfriend. What do you think, Gramps???

This is my brothers and me decorating our Easter eggs and me trying to take them out of my Nate's basket...he sure wasn't a good sharer with his candy...he kept telling my mommy I was stealing!

Look at my beautiful Easter dress I got from my grandma! And below is my big brother, Josh the driver, checking out his basket from the Easter bunny!!! I sure love my big brother, Josh. I call him "Joshaboo".

This is my Jacob and Nate making Easter bunny cakes from a Williams & Sonoma kit they got from grandma and grandpa...

Hope ya'll had a fun Easter too! My family does these "Resurrection Eggs" every year and my mommy and daddy told me Easter is all about Jesus and how He died on the cross for me! Wow! I sure love my Jesus!
Ya'll come back now!!!
